Some artists put their all into promoting their work, but only end up making peanuts. Artist Steve Casino, however, turns the whole system on its head and makes peanuts into art. Through a delicate painting and posing process, Casino takes the snack and turns it into something amazing.
Casino removes the peanuts without doing much damage to the shells, which he then uses as tiny canvases.
Once the paint dries, he seals it with a clear acrylic coating.
This Michael Jordan peanut is a slam dunk.
Other creations are modeled after celebrities, like this peanut caricature of Donald Trump.
After the paint and acrylic dry, the final product is preserved in a glass dome.
Sci-fi fans will love this Doctor Who peanut!
He has lots of fun with these projects!
The artist created this Wolverine figure using only one shell.
Casino also loves music, so this David Bowie peanut is a smash hit.
