Andy and Sarah Justice wanted a baby, but it seemed like it would never happen. They tried for years, but to no avail, and IVF treatments were too costly. That’s when the couple decided to adopt.
They got in touch with a pregnant woman who was unable to raise her child, and they made all of the necessary arrangements. A baby was finally on the horizon!
Or at least that’s what everyone thought.
At the first ultrasound, which was attended by Sarah, they learned that the birth mother was indeed pregnant with triplets! It was certainly a surprise, but the Justices were all for it.
The triplets, named Hannah, Joel, and Elizabeth, were born two months early and only weighed three pounds each. They were kept in intensive neonatal care for a while, but remained healthy and stable.
If hoping for a baby and getting three sounds daunting, just wait. About a week after the birth of the triplets, Sarah felt strangely sick. She went to the doctor and found out that she was pregnant with twins! This sounds like the premise of a sitcom, but it’s real life.

(via Little Things)
The Justice family is now a party of seven, and five of them are still quite small. The household has changed considerably, and Sarah and Andy find themselves with a lot less free time. But they say that they wouldn’t have it any other way, and that their sudden abundance of children is the best thing that’s ever happened to them.
