HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC)–
Star Jason Bateman was honored Wednesday with a star on the Hollywood Stroll of Fame.Bateman has had many starring and supporting roles in television and movie – a number of them comedic – considering that he went into Hollywood as a kid star in the early 1980s.
In the last few years, he starred in funnies like “Workplace Christmas Celebration” and “Dreadful Employers,” but possibly his most devoted fans originated from the TV series “Apprehended Advancement.”
Fellow cast members from that show appeared at the star ceremony, including Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Walter and Will Arnett and series developer Mitchell Hurwitz.Jennifer Aniston,
who co-starred with Bateman in”Workplace Christmas Party,””Awful Bosses” and” The Change,” also spoke at the event.
“He’s a great partner in crime,” Aniston said. “The most generous straight man who makes the world laugh and then can make you cry on a dime.”
Bateman remembered the very first time he saw the Walk of Popularity was as a kid skateboarding to auditions. He stated he might never envision himself achieving enough in his profession to join them.
“I’m rolling over these stars on the sidewalk my very first time. I’m thinking these are adults who had actually done something that was so far out of my idea of possibility.”
“I’m knocked out that I have a star on the Walk of Fame. I imply, it’s a mind-blower.
