It’s not often that you see a dog at a zoo, but Blakely the Australian shepherd calls the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden his home. Unlike the other animals there, however, Blakely actually works at the zoo. He has a very special job that he clearly loves watching over baby animals who were abandoned by their mothers.
Right now, Blakely is taking care of Dale the takin, a goat/antelope-like animal which, even as a baby, is quite a bit bigger than the dog nanny. This makes for an odd sight during their morning walks.
Dale will eventually grow up to be 500 pounds. For now, though, these two unlikely BFFs are perfectly matched.
