Band members stated in August that they were planning a public memorial for Benningtion in Los Angeles however did not release more specifics.Warner Bros.
Records revealed on Monday that the show will occur at the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 27.
The band will be joined by a variety of other artists.Warner Bros. said individual band members mean to contribute their charges from the program to Music For Relief’s Another Light Fund in memory of Bennington.The band has also released its video for “One More Light,” the title track from its latest album. The video features Bennington singing and archive footage.The tune had not been at first meant as a single. The strong connection with fans in the weeks following Bennington’s death brought the track to the leading edge, the band stated in a statement.In that same statement, the band’s co-vocalist Mike Shinoda stated the song is about” sending love to those who lost someone.””We now find ourselves on the receiving end, “Shinoda included.”In memorial events, art, videos, and images, fans all over the world have gravitated to this song as their statement of love and assistance for the band and the memory of our dear buddy, Chester.
