Jonathan Slocumb and Dawn Lewis acted as hosts for the soiree that existed by Edward Roebuck, long time road supervisor for Ms. Wilson.The girl of the hour looked ravishing in a ruby red gown and she shone with grace. In attendance for the 3 time Grammy Award winner were her family and long period of time buddies Merri Dee (media legend ), Mary Wilson(The Supremes), Susan Taylor(Previously of Essence Publication), Kephra Burns, StevieMarvel, Dionne Warwick, Clifton Davis, Angela Bassett, Courtney Vance, Marla Gibbs, Robert Hooks, Anna Maria Horseford, Arsenio Hall, Eloise Laws, Andre ‘James, Allison Williams and numerous more. Former Essence Magazine Editor Susan Taylor flew throughout the country to be with Ms. Nancy Wilson for her 80th birthday celebration. It was a day of loving homages.
